Account Deletion
This page is for users of the Klubbio mobile app and web platform who want to request deletion of their account and associated personal data. The app is developed by Klubbio.
How to request deletion
- Fill in the form below with your account details.
- Clicking Send request opens your email client with a pre-filled message addressed to [email protected].
- Send the message. You can also email us directly at the address above without using this form.
- We will verify the request comes from the email address on the account and process it within 30 days.
Data that is deleted
- Profile data: first name, last name, email, phone, date of birth, address.
- Profile picture and any content you uploaded.
- Password hash and authentication tokens.
- Login history, device identifiers, user IDs.
- Messages and notifications tied to your account.
Data that is retained and for how long
Some data must be kept after account deletion to meet legal obligations. It is not used for any commercial purpose:
- Active systems: personal data is deleted within 30 days of receiving your request.
- Backups: data is overwritten automatically within 90 days.
- Financial records (invoices, transactions, tax records): up to 11 years as required by law. These records contain the minimum data necessary (name, amount, date).
- Security logs: up to 12 months for abuse prevention.
Note for club members
If you are a member of a club that uses Klubbio, your club is the controller of your data. Deleting your app account does not automatically delete your membership record at the club. For full deletion, contact your club administrator and we will carry out the deletion on the club's instructions.
